About Us

What started as a family gathering to raise funds for Camp Trillium, has certainly evolved into something bigger than ever expected.  The Hollyrood Country Jamboree began as “The Moira River Pig Roast”, offering a great meal and a live band with all proceeds going to benefit kids fighting cancer at Camp Trillium in the summer of 2006.  

With the success of this initial event, it was decided that a larger venue was necessary and so started the evolution of the Hollyrood Country Jamboree we know today.    Over the past 14 years, the show has moved to its current location on Harmony Road in Corbyville, Ontario (just a few minutes north of Belleville, Ontario).  Grounds were cleared, roads were built, a giant stage erected, and the progress continues.  Recently, new hot showers have been built, the roads paved, and you will find everything you need on the grounds to ensure your needs are met.  

Hollyrood applies the motto, "Where hospitality and fun are second to none", and that can be experienced every time you enter the gates; from friendly and helpful staff to the variety of retail, artisan items and delicious foods being offered by our family of vendors.  What started as a one-day BBQ now boasts four days of live country music featuring national award-winning acts, fan favourites and has served as a launching pad for up-and-coming new artists finding their way in the business.  The organizers have always kept their focus on Camp Trillium throughout the years and still donate a portion of their proceeds annually to their cause.  To date, Hollyrood has continued to donate some of the proceeds to the camp and continues to raise awareness on their behalf.  

  The Hollyrood Country Jamboree promotes Canadian Country music first and foremost and caters to crowds of all ages and country music preferences.  The summer show held the first full weekend in July offers a variety of country music ranging from classic to alternative and to new country.  The event held Labour Day Weekend is called the Hollyrood Fall Classic and caters to classic country traditionalists.   Always a great mix and always high energy.  Hollyrood is proud to offer handpicked talent second to none each and every show.  Some of the acts we've featured over the years include Doc Walker, Bobby Wills, Jason McCoy, The Wilkinson’s, Julian Austin, Jimmy Flynn, Tommy Cash, George Fox, Lisa Brokop and more.  Our dedication to an awesome fan experience is what keeps us going.  We thrive on crowd satisfaction!  We offer a family friendly environment and fantastic music for an affordable price.  It's the reason our fans keep coming back and bringing their friends too!  Are you ready for the Hollyrood experience?  Mark your calendars and join us, we're waiting to entertain you!
